For most of my life I was involved with animals, especially birds. I have worked with vets, pet stores, wild bird rescue, the Vancouver Aquarium etc.

For several years my husband and I bred and sold various types of birds.
These days I keep a few lovebirds as pets and breed them about three times a year for fun and colour development.
